1. Regulation

This section aims to provide the user with some information relevant to the use of cookies by the site according to articles 13 and 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, related to privacy, and based on what provided for by the provision no. 229 of 8 May 2014 of the privacy guarantor.


2. What cookies are

Cookies are text files of reduced size sent by the server to the device that you are using (desktop computer, laptop, mobile device, smartphone, etc.). Their function is to preserve information related to browsing, to the preferences expressed or to set security levels, for a period of time that varies depending on the cookie.

Two main types of coockies have been identified:

    •    - browsing cookies: they allow the browsing of the contents of certain site areas (eg.: sections with restricted access, etc.);
    •    - analytics cookies: they have the task of collecting data to be aggregated in order to provide information on the number and types of visits;

  • - profiling cookies: they collect data in order to realize the profile of the users that are browsing the site.

Cookies of these two types can also be:

  •    - session cookies, when they are erased at the end of browsing (for example by closing the browser);
  •    - persistent cookies, when they remain in the computer of the user even at the end of the browsing session;
  •    - first party cookies, when they are generated by the same site that it has been visited;
  •    - third party cookies, when they are generated by sites other than the one it has been visisted.


Consent provision

The consent for the use of cookies is being provided by clicking the button “Continue”, present in the banner highlighted on the site pages. It is considered as accepted also the mere browsing of the site after having viewed the banner 
. The preference is being registered in a cookie that will remain for 30 days on the user device, after that it will be necessary that you give newly the consent.

As said before, the data registered in the technical cookies of Google Analytics are being used by Google for their aggregation, with the aim to provide information and statistics on the visits of this web site.
