SITIE for Bluenzyme™ pilot

2026, September 10th

SITIE cable trays are part of Saipem's Bluenzyme™ pilot project at ENI's Robassomero plant: an innovative step toward decarbonisation.

At the centre of the project is Bluenzyme™, Saipem's proprietary technology for carbon dioxide capture. Its principle is as elegant as it is innovative: it uses an enzymatic process inspired by the biological mechanisms with which living organisms manage CO₂, to capture greenhouse gas directly from industrial streams.

The solution is modular and plug-and-play, designed to integrate into existing production sites without disrupting their layout, thereby lowering the adoption barriers for hard-to-abate sectors and marking another important step toward the energy transition and the sustainability of industrial sites.

For this specific project, SITIE supplied PFLR cable trays, hot-dip galvanised after fabrication, customised in bending radii and widths to meet the technical specifications and requirements of the plant.
A precise technical supply, in service of a larger idea.
