SITIE has been awarded the supply of cable trays and the electrical installation for the Irena 3 platform, an offshore project in the Northern Adriatic Sea.

The project, assigned to Gruppo Antonini, features a fully green platform: its energy needs will be met by photovoltaic panels and the entire system will be remotely controlled and monitored via a Distributed Control System.

For this contract, SITIE PFLR cable trays in AISI 316 stainless steel were used, the essential material choice for offshore environments. Each component was manufactured to the engineering firm's specifications, with custom bending radii and tailored details to ensure seamless integration within the installation.

Irena 3 is the first of eight planned platforms in the Northern Adriatic, aimed at boosting production from the Ivana gas field. It will be installed at a depth of approximately 35 metresand connected to the Izabela North platform.
