The efforts we have been doing for many years and our experience have produced important results.
For over 10 years, the number of injuries recorded per million hours worked and the number of accidents that led to lost working days have continued to decline, and we are now ranked among the best performing companies in our sector.
The company policies, training and development of personnel skills, the rules, the procedures that SITIE has adopted are of fundamental importance; together with the constant controls in the field, the inspections and the need to report and share dangerous situations, they are part of that system able to guarantee excellent performance.
The commitment of the management and the proactive attitude of all the company resources have made it possible to consolidate and spread a real culture of safety: a work environment where people are aware of their role and feel encouraged to share their opinions or to raise questions about HSE aspects.

The SITIE health and safety management system has been certified in compliance with ISO 45001 standard (OHSAS 18001 since 2003), Since 2010, the VCA/SPP P 2017/6.0 standard has also been maintained
Environment
Environmental protection is pursued in an integrated manner.
SITIE considers the respect and protection of the environment of primary importance for the achievement of its development objectives and for a correct integration of its activities in the territories in which it operates.
The principles of environmental policy include, among others, the desire to identify, document and control the direct environmental aspects deriving from its activity, carefully choosing products and substances and controlling the processes the polluting emissions connected to it and consumption of natural resources, promoting the use of renewable sources, favouring the recovery of waste and exercising, where possible, also a control on indirect aspects.
SITIE guarantees the protection of the environment through interventions aimed at technological-structural, organizational and training improvement, involving workers and their representatives through a preventive management and a global approach to risk factors.
The concept of environmental protection has always been considered preventively and not as an implementation of corrective measures.
The management system implemented by SITIE has been certified since 2003, in compliance with the ISO 14001 standard, which provides a framework for the continuous improvement of environmental performance.
Quality
In order to pursue this result, after carefully evaluating its own organization and its context, through the analysis of external factors (e.g. market and competition analysis) and internal factors (e.g. values and culture) deemed relevant for its purposes and strategic directions, it implements a continuous improvement of its performances in terms of efficiency and effectiveness of the activities carried out.
The risk analysis, which creates opportunities, and the reduction of the same, which could influence the ability to achieve the expected results, are the basic elements to be considered in relations with Customers and interested Parties.
The company policies are inspired by ethical principles ranging from customer satisfaction, to the pursuit of quality, to technological development up to the involvement, enhancement and growth of all employees, in compliance with moral values and social rules, in constant search for continuous improvement and mutually beneficial relationship with suppliers, the community and the Stakeholders.
For the management of its activities, SITIE prepares dedicated structures that are responsible for managing the processes effectively, aimed at obtaining good technical, economic and qualitative performance.
Since the subjects involved must be fully aware of their role in order to make the system work, the necessary skills have been identified to carry out the activities correctly, to safeguard and spread knowledge, in relation to the changes requested by the clients and the objectives to be achieved.
The activities carried out by SITIE are formalized in procedures and work instructions in order to identify the operational sequences, responsibilities, inputs and outputs and to perform the work satisfying the required standards. The continuous verification of the performances and the search for continuous improvement complete the cycle.
The management system implemented by SITIE has been certified since 1997, in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
