SITIE Cable Trays for Ravenna CCS

SITIE is part of the groundbreaking Ravenna CCS project – Italy’s first system for permanent CO₂ capture and storage in depleted Adriatic reservoirs.
Specifically, all three of our product lines (PTR, PFLR, and PFL) in AISI 316 stainless steel were deployed for the revamping of the Casalborsetti Compression Plant (RA), highly customized to adapt to the engineering design needs.
In this renewable energy-powered facility, CO₂ is captured at a record-breaking 96% efficiency, then transported to depleted Adriatic reservoirs for storage at 3,000 meters depth.
By 2030, Ravenna CCS aims to store 4 million tons of CO₂ annually, establishing itself as a European hub for the energy transition.
