Supply of custom cable tray systems for Galp's new 100 MW green hydrogen plant in Sines, Portugal. A concrete contribution to decarbonization.

Our team has completed the supply of custom cable tray systems for Galp's new 100 MW green hydrogen plant at the Sines refinery in Portugal. A project representing a strategic step in Europe's energy transition.

The facility, equipped with ten PEM electrolysis modules supplied by Plug Power, will be one of Europe's largest, capable of producing up to 15,000 tons of renewable hydrogen annually. Once operational, it will replace 20% of the fossil-based hydrogen currently used at the refinery, reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 110,000 tons per year. A €650 million investment shaping the future of low-carbon fuels for aviation, maritime, and road transport.

For this project, we will supply our three main product lines (PTR, PFLR and PFL), manufactured in 2mm thick steel sheet and hot-dip galvanized with a minimum 85µ coating to ensure maximum corrosion resistance in Sines' coastal environment
